ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to cut down the R.S.Pathi Trees in S.No.270/8, and 270/9 situated at Thuvar Village, Kandarvakottai Taluk, Pudukottai District based on the petitioners representation dated 16.08.2023.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the title over the property was decided in favour of this petitioner's vagaiyaraa in O.S.No.175 /2016 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Pudukottai (which was transferred to the file of the learned District Munsif Court cum Judicial Magistrate, Kandarvakottai and renumbered as O.S.No.87 of 2019). After dismissal of the suit, the private respondents are making trouble over which representation was made.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that finding that it is a continuous issue, the matter was referred to the Tahsildar, to conduct peace committee meeting, by the recommendation dated 08.10.2023.

4. In view of the above submission, if the peace committee meeting is conducted, the petitioner may appear before the competent authority and resolve the issue.

5. With this direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
