ORDER

This petition has been filed to transfer the case in SC No.08 of 2016 on the file of the learned Additional District Judge, Sivagangai, to any other competent Court in Madurai District, or any other District in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that already 17 witnesses have been examined out of 20 witnesses and the case was posted to 2/4

16.04.2026 for examination of L.W.18. Hence, there is no scope of transfer the case.

3. However, considering the long pendency of the case, the learned Additional District Judge, Sivagangai, is directed to complete the trail in S.C.No.8 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible without granting long adjournment beyond one week. 4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
