The petitioner asserts that he has been in continuous possession and enjoyment of the land in survey No.344/14. He had earlier applied for a free house site patta. Later, the Revenue Divisional Officer rejected the petitioner's request on the ground that the petitioner is receiving an Army pension exceeding the income ceiling prescribed for a free house site patta. Later, by relying on the Board Standing Order 15, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 09.09.2025. This Writ Petition relates thereto.
2. On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to pay the consideration for the land.
3. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the process of consideration of the petitioner's request would require approvals all the way up to the Commissioner of Land Administration. Therefore, he seeks four (4) months time.
