O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the Petitioner's life and limb and also to take action as against the proposed accused namely Kathir Velayutham and 5 persons based on the petitioner's complaint, dated 21.11.2023.

2. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that the complaint given by him is still pending and the third respondent caused damaged to the petitioner's property.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint given by the petitioner is at enquiry stage in CSR No.197 of 2023. Further, he would submit that there is no damage in this case.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and since it is a civil issue between the parties, let the said enquiry be closed by advising the parties to workout their remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5. With the above said direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
