ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners candidature as the preferential candidate in the post of the Angawadi Worker at Veppalodi, Ottapidaram Panchayat Union, Thoothukudi within stipulated time fixed by this court.

2. Today when the matter is taken out, the learned Government Advocate has placed on record, the proceedings of the second respondent dated 22.08.2025 which would indicate that to the post for which the petitioner seeks orders of appointment, had been passed in favour of one Smt.Parimala and that she had also joined duty.

3. In view of the same, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and there is no vacancy. However, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to challenge the order of appointment.
