The petitioner has sought for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Nilakkottai, to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.86 of 2024 within a time frame.

Apart from referring to the merits of the case, the petitioner has not given any exceptional reason, as to why a direction to the learned Magistrate to complete the trial within the time frame should be given. The Honourable Supreme Court in the case of High Court Bar Association, Allahabad v. State of U.P. and Others [(2024) 2 SCR 946] has deprecated the practice of directing the trial Court to dispose of the case within the time frame. Hence this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.
3.With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
