PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent/District Revenue Officer, Trichy to cancel the UDR Patta No.480, issued in favour of the 4th and 5th respondents by way of consider the petitioner representation dated 21.08.2025.

ORDER

By relying on sale deed in favour of the petitioner's father, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 21.08.2025 alleging that an error was committed during the UDR scheme. The present writ petition relate thereto. 2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. He submits that the District Revenue Officer would consider and dispose of the petitioner's request on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents. 3.In view of the above submissions, without making any observations on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2025 within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the respondents herein.
