The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 68 days in preferring the appeal, challenging the judgment of conviction made in C.C.No.35 of 2013 dated 09.05.2025 on the file of the Special Court under TNPID Act cases, Madurai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit they are having objections to condone the delay.

4. Considering the reasons assigned and also taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order.
