PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for records pertaining to case in S.C.No.114/2012 on the file of Additional Sessions cum Fast Track Court, Thanjavur and quash the same.

The petitioners herein are the eighth and ninth accused in S.C.No.114 of 2012 of the Additional Sessions cum Fast Track Court, Thanjavur.This application is filed in which the petitioners seeking the relief to quash the charge sheet pertaining to S.C.No.114 of 2012.

2.Today, when the case was taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the case pertaining to S.C.No.114 of 2012 was disposed on 29.04.2014 itself, in which, all the accused are acquitted. So, the prayer sought by the petitioners in the Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous.

3.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
