ORDER
The petitioners, with a grievance that the application filed by them u/s.64(1) of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act in O.A.No.19 of 2022 in the month of October, 2022, is still pending, have filed this writ petition for a mandamus seeking early disposal of the application. 2/4
2.In the said Original Application, the petitioners have sought for the relief of appointing a Fit Person for Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Temple, Nehru Nagar, Madurai.
3.Since the issue is pending with the second respondent, this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the claim in O.A.No.19 of 2022, dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to take a decision on O.A.No.19 of 2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the contesting parties. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Index :
