O R D E R
The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the wrong entry in the name of Sri Aadhikumbashwara Swamy Temple and enter the petitioner's name in revenue records with respect to T.S.No.881 situated in Kumbakonam Town, Thanjavur District, based on the petitioner's representations, dated 09.10.2023 and 23.11.2023.
2. With the consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though a larger relief is claimed in the writ petition, it would suffice, if a direction is issued to 2/5
the fourth respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representations, dated 09.10.2023 and 23.11.2023, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
5. Considering the limited prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner, a direction is issued to the fourth respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representations, dated 09.10.2023 and 23.11.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that the fourth respondent shall issue notice to the petitioner and all other interested persons, before passing the orders.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
