O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by the Managing Director of a Cooperative Press challenging the order passed by the Joint Commissioner of Labour under the Payment of Wages Act, in PWP No. 06/2017 dated 11.08.2023.

2.As against the impugned order, a statutory appeal lies before the District Court under Section 17 of the Payment of Wages Act, 1936. In view of availability of effective alternative remedy, this Writ Petition is not maintainable and the same is dismissed with liberty to approach the competent Court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
