Today when the matter was taken up for consideration, it is reported by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that on completion of trial, the petitioners were acquitted by the learned District Munsif -cum- Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti, Theni District, by order dated 20.12.2011, in C.C.No.537 of 2010 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.
2. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
