PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to issue direction directing the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul, to dispose the case in C.C.No.539/2021, within the time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul, to dispose the case in C.C.No. 1/4

539/2021, within the time fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in the C.C.No.539 of 2021. He gave a complaint before the respondent police, which was registered in Crime No.128 of 2013, for the offence punishable under Sections 120(b), 465, 468, 420, 147, 447, 294(b) & 506(i) of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2013, so far no progress is made in the trial process. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police is ready to co-operate to complete the trial process within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.In view of the submissions on either side and considering the oldness of the crime, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul, to expedite the trial process and dispose of the same within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
