COMMON ORDER The petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD) No.17368 of 2025 seeks for quashing of the FIR in Crime No.315 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent for the alleged offences under Sections 191(2), 296(b), 115(2) of BNS, 2023. 1.1.The petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD) No.17249 of 2025 seeks for quashing of the FIR in Crime No.314 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent for the alleged offences under Sections 191(2), 296(b), 115(2) of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, 2002.

2. The Criminal Original Petitions have been filed challenging the FIR in Crime Nos.314 and 315 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent Police filed by the rival parties in respect of the same occurrence. The allegation is that the petitioners in both the cases had attacked the defacto complainants with hands and legs in connection with money dispute and abused them in filthy language and thus, committed the aforesaid offences.

3. Admittedly, the petitioners and the second respondent in both the cases have now entered into a compromise and decided to give a quietus to the entire dispute. The parties have filed joint compromise memos, dated 10.10.2025.

4. The defacto complainants in both the cases namely, Chandru @ Sabaripandi

(Aadhaar No.9763 9730 3252) and Elakkiya (Aadhaar No.4556 3451 4148 are present before this Court in person. They are identified by Mr.M.Chinnthambi, GrI-1389, Vaiyampatti Town Police Station, Trichy District. Both the parties confirmed the compromise arrived at between them.

In view of the same, considering the nature of the offences and the compromise arrived between the parties, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the impugned FIRs pending investigation. Accordingly, the impugned FIR in Crime Nos.314 and 315 of 2025, dated 19.07.2025 are quashed and the Criminal Original Petitions stand allowed.
