ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the case in C.C.No.11 of 2010, on the file of the Special Court for TNPID act cases, Madurai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the State. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the personal appearance of the petitioner may be dispensed with and he further undertakes that the petitioner/accused will extend her co-operation for completion of the trial within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the above submissions, this Court is not inclined to quash the case in C.C.No.11 of 2010, on the file of learned Special Judge under TNPID Act, Madurai. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected M.P.(MD).No.1 of 2011 is closed.

5. The personal appearance of the petitioner is dispensed with and she is directed to appear before the Trial Court as and when her presence is required. Further, the learned Special Judge under TNPID Act, Madurai, is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.11 of 2010, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
