PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the Respondents to Survey the lands in Survey No.188/5 to an extent of 0.01.0 Ares of lands in Uppuliyapuram, Thuraiyr Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of Charges paid by petitioner on 09.09.2025 and to pass such further or other orders as this court. ORDER

By stating on affidavit that the land in S.No.188/5 of an extent of 1 are was purchased under registered sale deed dated 15.07.2022 and by relying on patta No.1955, the petitioner had applied online for a survey. The present writ petition relates thereto.

2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's application would be acted upon after issuing notice to owners of adjoining lands. 3.On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner confirms that there is no rival title claim. The petitioner has placed on record the patta standing in his name. In these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's application for survey and complete the entire process within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to owners of adjoining lands and considering objections, if any, from them.
