O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.1068 of 2020 on the file of the 1st Respondent police station.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the is the accused in FIR in Crime No.1068 of 2020 dated 26.05.2020, which was registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 188, 269 and 270 of IPC, alleging that the petitioner has violated the COVID - 19 protocols during the pandemic period.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the Government of Tamil Nadu has dropped all the pending cases, which was registered during the pandemic period. In view of the above, the FIR registered against the petitioner was closed as further action dropped. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition.

5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
