ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Helper (Non ITI) of the respondent Transport Corporation, who attained superannuation on 31.05.2022.

2. According to the petitioner, his terminal benefits were disbursed only on 30.05.2023. Seeking interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation on 24.06.2023. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to pay 6% interest to the writ petitioner from the due date till 29.05.2023, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
