2. The Writ Petitioners were inducted as licensees on payment of a ground rent. Subsequently, issues arose and Writ Petitions were filed before this Court. The copy of the order, dated 31.01.2019 passed in W.P.(MD)No.4375 of 2018 has been enclosed 2/5

in the typed set of papers. The local body undertook to constitute a committee and regularize their relationship between the petitioners on the one hand and the local body on the other.

3. The grievance of the Writ Petitioners is that till date the rent payable by the petitioners has not been finalized. On the other hand, the petitioners are facing threat of dispossession. That led to the filing of these writ petitions.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, submitted that the local body would soon finalize the monthly ground rent payable by the petitioners herein. This exercise shall be completed by the respondent within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The earlier directions given by this Court that till such exercise is completed no coercive action shall be taken against the licensees will hold good.
