O R D E R
The petitioner had applied for the conduct of a survey in respect of the land in survey No.246/33. By alleging that the survey was not properly conducted on 30.05.2025, after submitting representations dated 02.06.2025, 15.07.2025 and 13.08.2025 seeking an inquiry and action against the fourth and fifth respondents herein, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. He has placed on record the survey report indicating that the petitioner acknowledged the conduct of such survey on 30.05.2025. In addition, by referring to the petitioner's representations, he points out that the petitioner has also admitted therein that the survey 2/5
was conducted. As regards the representations of the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader submits that it is entirely within the discretion of the senior revenue department officials to decide whether disciplinary action should be taken and that this Writ Petition is not maintainable for such purpose.
3. Learned Special Government Pleader has placed on record the survey report. The said report contains the acknowledgement of the petitioner in relation to the conduct of survey on 30.05.2025. It also records that the petitioner was consequently made aware of the boundaries of his property.
4. In this factual context, on the basis that the petitioner was dissatisfied with the survey, no case is made out to issue a mandamus directing an inquiry as prayed for by the petitioner. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed without any order as to costs. NCS : Yes/No 14.10.2025 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No apd 3/5
