Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to grant appropriate permission to the petitioner for quarrying brick earth in the land in Survey No.639/1, Katchaikatti Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's application, dated 28.11.2023.

2. The petitioner has applied to the first respondent seeking permission for quarrying brick earth in the petition mentioned patta land.

3. The first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The issue is left to the discretion of the first respondent.
