O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents No.1 and 2 to provide Police protection to the petitioner's life and liberty by considering his representation dated 08.11.2023.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the counter parties, a case in Crime No.221 of 2023 was registered against two persons, including this petitioner's wife for the offences punishable under Sections 380 and 453 of IPC.

3. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that the complaint given by the petitioner's wife is kept pending in CSR No.893 of 2023, without making any enquiry.

4. Let the complaint given by the petitioner's wife namely Rani be enquired on its own merits by summoning the petitioner as well as the counter parties and complete the same within a week from the date of appearance of the parties. Depending upon the outcome of the above said enquiry, further action may be taken either by the official respondent or by the petitioner, if so aggrieved.

5. In view of the above said facts and circumstances, there is no question of Police protection.

6. With the above said direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
