COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by C.KUMARAPPAN, J.) The Staff Selection Commission has filed the Writ Appeals along with condone delay petitions to condone the delay of 168 days.
2. The brief facts which are relevant in the present applications are that, in the writ petitions filed by the writ petitioners (respondents herein), the learned Single Judge, notwithstanding the wrong mentioning of the domicle status of the writ petitioners, directed the Authorities to appoint the writ petitioners, if they are otherwise qualified.
3. The learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing for the petitioners would fairly submit that during the pendency of the delay condonation applications, the Hon'ble Supreme Court, in similar set of facts in Union of India and others vs. Rajesh in Civil Appeal No.144 of 2024, vide order dated 03.09.2025, negated the ground urged by the Department, thereby, confirming the order of the learned Single Judge and therefore, nothing survives in the present petitions. 3/5
4. In view of the above fair submission, we do not find any ground to condone the delay. Hence, recording the submissions made by the Deputy Solicitor General of India, these Civil Miscellaneous Petitions are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the Writ Appeals are rejected in the SR stage itself.
