PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the Impugned Patta Order in 2025/0103/27/225661 dated 16.09.2025 passed by the 3rd respondent, quashing the same and consequently directing the 1st to 4th 1/4

respondents to restore petitioners Patta Nos.1957 and 1958 within any time stipulated by this court.

ORDER

The pattas issued on 16.09.2025 are challenged in this writ petition. 2.Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. He has placed on record an order dated 14.10.2025 of the Revenue Divisional Officer restoring the status of revenue records to the pre UDR status.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the order impugned in this writ petition has been effectively nullified on account of the subsequent order on 14.10.2025. Nonetheless he submits that the Tahsildar has effected more than one patta transfer without notice to the petitioner. He also submits that his grievance with regard to the recording of the name of Koorichami instead of Kaarichami still survives.

4.By leaving it open to the petitioner to initiate proceedings in respect of the incorporation of the name of Koorichami instead of Kaarichami or to initiate further action in respect of order dated 14.10.2025, this writ petition is disposed of without any order as to costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
