2. The petitioner has filed statutory appeal before the first respondent under Section 47A of the Indian Stamp Act. All that the petitioner wants is their speedy disposal.

3. No exception can be taken to the said request. The first respondent is directed to conclude the proceedings and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
