PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to conclude the enquiry so as to cancel the patta in respect of Survey No.248/2A3 situated at Pudur Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District stands in the name of the respondents Nos.2 to 4 by considering the petitioners representation dated 17.09.2025 within time frame as fixed by this court. For Petitioner : Mr.D.S.Haroon Rasheed For Respondents : Mr.B.Saravanan Additional Government Pleader for R1 1/4

ORDER

After filing an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer seeking cancellation of the pattas issued to respondents 2 to 4, the petitioner seeks early disposal of such appeal.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the first respondent. He submits that the appeal would be disposed of on merits within three months after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents.

3.In view of the above submissions of learned Additional Government Pleader, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the private respondents in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the respondents 2 to 4 herein. No costs.
