Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 3 from erection of any solar or electric poles or using the land to lay any sort of wires in the land situated in Survey Nos.335/3, 335/5, 335/6, 335/7 and 335/9 situated at Govindhanagaram, Theni District on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2025 within time frame as fixed by this Court.

Heard both sides.

2. This writ petition has been filed on the premise that compensation has not been paid for carrying out the petition mentioned activities.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the District Collector, 2/6

Theni had already passed an order dated 03.09.2025 determining the compensation payable to the writ petitioner.

4.The learned counsel for the private respondent states that compensation had already been remitted in the revenue account. The District Collector is directed to secure the writ petitioner's bank account details and transfer the said account immediately and without any delay. It is open to the writ petitioner to withdraw the same and without prejudice to his rights to claim enhancement. The petitioner can move the District Court for enhancement. As and when such petition is filed, it shall be numbered immediately provided the papers are in order. The learned District Judge shall endeavour to dispose of the claim petition for enhancement on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months thereafter.
