O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed by a Junior Clerk working in the second respondent Co-operative Credit Society seeking a mandamus to dispose of his representation, dated 05.12.2022.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, he was originally appointed as a Salesman and his services were regularized with effect from 12.03.2001. Thereafter, he was promoted as Junior Clerk with effect from 03.10.2022. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, any person who has completed 10 years of service is eligible to be promoted as Clerk. To the said extent, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the second respondent herein on 05.12.2022. Since the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent. 2/4

Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and in the light of the bye-laws applicable to the Society and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
