The petitioner is the accused in S.T.C.No.440 of 2012, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanjvaur. This petition has been filed under the provisions of Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash the above said S.T.C.No.440 of 2012 as illegal.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on 27.07.2016 itself, the said case in S.T.C.No.440 of 2012 was disposed of by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Magisterial Level, Thanjavur, in which all the accused including this petitioner were acquitted.

3. The above said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is recorded. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition becomes infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are dismissed.
