ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Special Grade Driver of the respondent Transport Corporation who had attained superannuation on 31.05.2022 seeking a Mandamus as against the authorities for releasing the arrears of Dearness Allowance which were not settled at the time of his retirement.

2. With the said request, the petitioner has addressed a detailed representation to the 1st respondent on 22.11.2023. Though the said representation has been acknowledged, so far no orders have been passed. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to consider the said representation and confer eligible benefits upon the writ petitioner within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Wrti Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
