retirement till the date of payment.

The present writ petition has been filed by a Special Grade Driver (Retired) who had attained superannuation on 31.05.2022. The petitioner has sent detailed representation to the respondents on 03.11.2023 seeking dearness allowance for various spells totalling for a period of 12 months. Since the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 03.11.2023 and to confer eligible benefits upon the writ petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
