For Respondent : Mr.R.Sureshkumar, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.733/2023 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC in Crime No.733 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein and his husband have pledged the duplicate jewels in the Kosamattam Finance Limited and availed a sum of Rs.16,80,900/- as loan. Hence the case. 1/3

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and his name has been falsely implicated in this case, hence he seeks anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that petitioner herein and his husband / A1 have pledged the duplicate jewels in the Kosamattam Finance Limited in the name of one Saravanan as well as the petitioner and availed a loan of Rs.16,80,900/- and hence, strongly objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the serious nature of allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
