O R D E R
(Made by C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the father complaining that his daughter who was born on 27.08.2007 had been missing on and from 19.09.2025.
2.It had come to the knowledge of the petitioner that his daughter had developed a relationship with another girl and she moved to Pachaimalai in Thuraiyur Taluk at Trichy District. Owing to the missing of the daughter, the petitioner had given a complaint to the third respondent police. An F.I.R in Crime No.331 of 2025 had been registered under the caption 'Woman Missing'.
3.Simultaneously, one Ramesh had also given a complaint to the Thuraiyur Police Station that his daughter has also gone missing and in this connection, an F.I.R in Crime No.977 of 2025 had been lodged again under the caption 'Woman Missing'.

4.Today the daughter of the petitioner has been produced before us. She requires counselling. She requires to be informed about the importance of having a good education and thereafter, moving forward in life and taking a decision in life. As a matter of fact, the daughter of Ramesh in respect of whom F.I.R in Crime No.977 of 2025 had been registered by Thuraiyur Police Station also requires guidance and counselling. Both require understanding of their respective views. To that extent, we would place a request before the Principal District Judge, Trichy to arrange the experienced counsellors to go over the place of residence of the petitioner and also to the place of residence of Ramesh within the jurisdictional limit of Thuraiyur Police Station at Pachaimalai and give proper and good counselling and emphasize upon them to have good education. They should also inform about the value of good family relationship.
5.The detenue in this case after some deep discussion which we had, particularly by my brother, had agreed to go with her parents and we have placed an assurance that the counsellor would reach to her by Wednesday ie. on 22.10.2025. Since she had been secured and handed over to the parents, no further directions are required and therefore, this petition stands closed. 3/5
6.The Principal District Judge, Trichy may gather further information regarding the F.I.R. in Crime No.997 of 2025 on the file of the Thuraiyur Police Station and also the F.I.R.in Crime No.331 of 2025 on the file of the third respondent herein.
