ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.DHANDAPANI, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned order passed by the first respondent dated 13.09.2025 in Mu.Mu.B2/22248/2025 and for

a consequential direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct a fresh public auction strictly in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Tender Transparency Act, 1998 and Rules with respect to cutting the Karuvelam trees in Vettikulam Revenue Village, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District. 2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that for removal of Karuvelam trees in Vettikulam Revenue Village, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District, auction was conducted, however, the said auction was not conducted in a transparent manner and the work has been allotted in favour of the person already fixed by them. Challenging the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 3.However, learned Counsel for the petitioner would further submit that as against the impugned order awarding tender in favour of the private respondent, the petitioner has made a complaint / representation before the District Collector on 29.09.2025. He seeks for a direction from this Court to consider the same, on merits.

4.Considering the request made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter directs the first

respondent / District Collector to consider the complaint / representation made by the petitioner dated 29.09.2025 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two [2] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
