Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to approve the appointment of one Mr.A.R.Sheik Mohammed as Junior Assistant in the petitioner School with effect from 01.03.2019 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2023 and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed by an Aided Minority School seeking a mandamus as against the respondent for approving the appointment of one Mr.A.R.Sheik Mohammed as Junior Assistant.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, one Mr.A.R.Sheik Mohammed as Junior Assistant in the petitioner's School on 01.03.2019. The petitioner has sent a proposal to the respondent on 05.03.2019 for his approval. On 07.10.2023, a representation has been sent by the Management for expeditious disposal of their proposal. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to consider the proposal forwarded by the School Management on 05.03.2019 in the light of the staff fixation order for the academic year 2018 - 2019, dated 2/4

08.05.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
