2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial process is going on.

Considering the request of the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the learned District and Sessions Judge for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Madurai District, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.1245 of 2022 and complete the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
