The impugned judgments were passed on 24.06.2011. This is after the cut of date. Therefore in my view, these criminal revision cases are not maintainable. The petitioner is very much having the right to file appeal before the Sessions Court. It is seen that the accused had filed Criminal Appeals before the Seesions Court and they are still pending on the file of learned Additional Sessions Court, Fast Track Court, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Virudhunagar in C.A.Nos.20, 37 and 57 of 2017. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he would also file an appeal within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. When such an appeal is filed, the learned Sessions Court is directed to number the same without reference to limitation. The appeals to be filed by the petitioner will be taken along with the appeals that have been already filed by the accused.
