ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to provide police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner and his family member, based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.07.2025.

2.According to the petitioner, based on his earlier complaint, an FIR was registered against the private respondents in Crime No.349 of 2025 under Sections 329(4), 296(b), 133, 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS and on 30.07.2025, when the petitioner was at his house, the private respondents threatened him with dire consequences and chased him away from his house.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation in Crime No.349 2/4

of 2025 is pending and the same would be concluded within two months. However, the subsequent complaint dated 30.07.2025 was enquired into and it was found that no such incident took place and the petitioner had given an exaggerated version.

4.In view of the aforesaid submission, the respondent police shall forthwith communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the closure of the complaint, it open to him to challenge the same in a manner known to law.

5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
