ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct respondent Nos.1 to 3 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of his representation dated 30.11.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that there is a land dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent herein. Thereafter, an enquiry was conducted and the same was closed as civil in nature.

3. In that view of the matter, when there is a civil dispute with reference to the land, it is for the petitioner to approach the appropriate Civil Court. If and when any order/decree is passed by the Civil Court, only thereafter, the petitioner can approach the respondent police for protection.

4. With such liberty preserved to the petitioner, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
