PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to return the petitioner's three jewel loan accounts pledged with the 3rd respondent Society vide 1st Account 677, 2nd Account 678, 3rd Account 679 by considering the representation given by the petitioner dated 21.04.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4

ORDER

The petitioner sought a Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to return the petitioner's three jewel-loan accounts pledged with the 3rd respondent Society, namely Account No. 677, Account No. 678, and Account No. 679, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. However, when the matter was taken up for hearing, it was informed by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that the jewels in question have already been auctioned and that the petitioner has not challenged the said auction, which took place in the year 2017.

3. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed. The respondents are directed to serve a copy of the proceedings under which the auction was conducted, as the said proceedings have not been issued till date. No costs.
