Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the 1st Respondent vide impugned proceedings issued by the C.E.P.No.11/2024-25 dated 09.07.2024 and quash the same and consequently directing the Respondents to remove the entry made in

the Encumbrance Register in respect of house property of the Petitioner comprised in Survey Nos.589/4A3, 589/4A5, 589/5C, 589/8F and 589/5 situated at Oruthattu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The above writ petition is filed for the following relief : "to call for the records pertaining to the 1st Respondent vide impugned proceedings issued by the C.E.P.No.11/2024-25 dated 09.07.2024 and quash the same and consequently directing the Respondents to remove the entry made in the Encumbrance Register in respect of house property of the Petitioner comprised in Survey Nos.589/4A3, 589/4A5, 589/5C, 589/8F and 589/5 situated at Oruthattu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District within the time stipulated by this Court."

2. The impugned order has been passed on the ground that the petitioner's husband has been arrayed as an accused and an amounts are payable by him.

3. Today, when the matter was called, it was informed by the learned Government Advocate that all actions against the petitioner's husband has been dropped.

4. Considering the above, the continuance of the attachment order is unnecessary. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to remove the entry in the encumbrance certificate within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 13.10.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes gbg
