Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to to 3 to take appropriate steps for initiating criminal prosecution under Section 82 of the Tamil Nadu Registration Act, 1908 on the basis of the petitioners representation dated 18.09.2025 within a time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for R1 to R3.

2. The petitioner claims that the petition mentioned property was sold by the fourth respondent in his favour. It is conceded that there is no registered sale deed standing in the writ petitioner's name. In these circumstances, the petitioner does not have requisite locus to maintain the writ petition. The petitioner has to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. 2/4

3. With the aforesaid liberty to the writ petitioner and without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
