PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct an enquiry and investigate the complaint of the petitioner dated 06.11.2023 and 02.12.2023 and consequently direct them to recover the amount of Rs.66,64,559.60/- (Rupees sixty six lakhs sixty four thousand five hundred and fifty nine and sixty paisa only) which was due from the accused within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent police to investigate the complaint given by the petitioner.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that an FIR has been registered in Crime No.38 of 2024 on 06.12.2024 by the fourth respondent against two named accused persons for offence under 2/5

Section 420 of IPC. The copy of the FIR was also produced before this Court.

3.The above submission is recorded and there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to complete the investigation in this case within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
