Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the 2nd respondent from interfering in the civil dispute between petitioner and the 3rd respondent by the way of conducting Kattapanchayat based on his representation dated 07.10.2025.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks direction to the second respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute in the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that there is a complaint against the petitioner filed by the third respondent that promising to obtain loan for Rs.54 Crores, substantial amount was received by the petitioner and that the third respondent was cheated.

3. Since an enquiry is pending, this Court cannot issue any direction as prayed for. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent Police on summons and the respondent Police shall thereafter conclude the enquiry within a period of two weeks.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
