ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court that the order passed by this Court in WP.(MD)No.21167 of 2021 dated 22.12.2021 has not been complied with by the respondents herein.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the respondents, by referring to the paragraph Nos.9 and 12 of the order in WP.(MD)No.21167 of 2021 dated 22.12.2021, submits that this order is applicable only to the recruitment of the year 2018-2019. By taking advantage of that, the petitioner cannot seek exemption from age limit forever. He further submits that the petitioner herein and other writ petitioners were engaged as seasonal employees during the paddy procurement. Though this Court has suggested to consider for age limit by considering the service as projected in the writ petition, this Court in the subsequent batch of writ 2/5

petitions in WP.(MD)No.2357 of 2020 etc., has rejected the claim of the similarly placed workers that they cannot claim it as a matter of right that they have to be engaged for the subsequent seasons also. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties in detail and perused the materials placed on record. 4.The petitioner was only a seasonal employee. This Court has suggested the Management to consider their case for the recruitment of the year 2018-2019 by relaxing the age limit. This Court has not issued any direction and it is only a suggestion. Therefore, this Court cannot find fault with the Department and there is no scope for contempt. Accordingly, this contempt petition is dismissed. 07.11.2025 gns 3/5
