ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a retired Special Watchman seeking to implement G.O.(Ms) No.29, Tourism, Culture and Charitable Department, dated 19.01.2023.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the writ petitioner's salary was revised as per G.O.(Ms) No.29, dated 19.01.2023. Seeking the said benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 26.08.2023. The said representation has been forwarded by the second respondent to the third respondent. However, the third respondent is yet to pass orders. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the 2/6

learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

4. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent viz., the Joint Commissioner/Executive Officer, Kanyakumari District Temples, Suseenthiram, Kanyakumari District, is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner which was forwarded by the second respondent on 11.09.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
