PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to speedy disposal of the case pending in CC.No.282 of 2022 dated 21.9.2022 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Paramakudi, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking speedy disposal of the case pending in CC.No.282 of 2022 dated 21.9.2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Paramakudi, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the accused in the C.C.No.282 of 2022. The defacto complainant gave a complaint before the respondent police, which was registered in Crime No.169 of 2022, for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b) and 304(A) of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2022, so far no progress is made in the trial process. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police is ready to co-operate to complete the trial process within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.In view of the submissions on either side, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Paramakudi, to 2/4

expedite the trial process and dispose of the same within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
