O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.17 of 2012 from the second respondent to any other investigating agency, which is competent to deal with the matter.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State would submit that the investigation has been completed and the charge sheet has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.160 of 2013. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, considering the fact that the case in Crime No.17 of 2012 was registered in the year 2012, this Court came to the conclusion that it would be appropriate for giving some direction to the Magistrate to dispose of the case. Accordingly, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.160 of 2013 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
