When the matter was taken up for hearing on 19.12.2017 and 02.01.2018, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner either in person or through pleader. Thereafter, the case was posted under the caption "for dismissal" on 24.01.2018. On that day, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is present and sought further adjournment. So, considering the request made by the counsel, the case was posed on 02.02.2018 finally.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today i.e 02.02.2018, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. In such circumstances, the attitude of the petitioner shows that he is not having any interest in proceeding the case. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
